Looks like there is a 2nd rocket, lying horizontally, that is getting absolutely blasted at launch.

I am sure the PLAN are eyeing this barge, with its orbital VLS, because I guess DF26 and DF27 rockets are a similar size to this?

If you want to post about a single event, gather as much material as you can and put it all in a single post. Don't break it up into multiple consecutive short posts because it's messy and a royal pain in the ass to follow.

This thread isn't a chat room, so don't treat it as one.

You can use the "Edit" button to add additional content to a previous post, provided the 15-minute edit window hasn't expired. You should have combined these two posts (1, 2) by using the "Edit" button, and these two subsequent posts (3, 4) should have been combined into one post as well.

Yeah, but it looks like the TEL has a rocket in it. You can see the fairing with a flag on it.

So? Lots of things have flags painted on them. What do you expect the container for a rocket to look like? Are you expecting it to be shaped like a pyramid, a giant donut, or a statue of Mahatma Gandhi?

Which do you think makes more sense: 1) it's a TEL or container for the rocket that was being launched, or 2) it's another rocket that was not planned to be launched but nevertheless was senselessly put on the launch barge and idiotically parked within the blast zone of the rocket that was actually being launched?

A Long March 2C successfully launched 环境减灾二号06 (Disaster Mitigation 2 satellite No. 6) into orbit. The satellite is equipped with an S-band radar to obtain global 3D radar images to assist in environmental monitoring and disaster relief. This launch marked the 482nd flight of the Long March Series.
