What I could read of it, looks to be something like "China Manned Space Program, Space Station Construction Commemorative Medal" on the top rim, then below that it says "Dongfeng Landing Site" and then at the bottom it says "China Aerospace",
Thank you

China will launch the "Mazu" satellite, their first ocean wave and wind detection satellite, in 2027. The article goes over a bit of the history of Mazu, who she was in Chinese culture, and other parts, so it's an interesting read if you're into space or just Chinese history in general.

Deep Blue Aerospace also conducted a test fire on the first stage of the Nebula-1 reusable vehicle. Some images and press release below:

A Long March 7A has launched the Yaogan-46 remote sensing satellite into space, from the LC-201 pad at Wenchang. This was the only payload on board. The payload was, as usual, developed by CAST. It will be used for land resource surveys, crop yield estimations, and more. Notably, also, the satellite will not be placed in a low earth orbit, but above it, like the Yaogan-45 and 41, in geostationary orbit.

This was the 12th launch of the Long March 7A, 22nd launch in the Long March 7 series, and the 605th launch of the Long March series in general. This is also the 69th launch for China in 2025, which officially breaks the all-time launch record for China in a single year. We have nearly two full months left of the year, and I think based on scheduling, we will see 80+ launches this year.

Some more high quality images that I could find, and the mission patch.

We have some news that the upcoming Lijian-1 launch in a few days, from JSLC, may be the Chutian-2 satellites, both 01 and 02. For those who don't know, they are uniquely shaped VLEO imaging/observation satellites, people liken their shape to a bullet. The Chutian constellation should consist of 300 satellites in the future, the first was launched in May of 2024.

Alright, not to blow up this thread, but some more images with a different angle came out. I also have some more interesting news. We also have a launch time, 03:47 was the official launch time.

We have also learned they will attempt another launch on the 30th of November, which should be the shortest turnaround for the LC-201 pad, and of the Long March 7 series.

Officially will be used for these purposes, I'd be curious to know what mil application it might have though.

What technical strengths does the -46 have over others in the series?

HD footage from the DeepBlue's test of Nebula-1's 1st stage. All propulsion system tests have now been completed. The maiden flight of Nebula-1 is next.
