The 500-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine can be used in large and heavy-duty launch vehicles, and can be extended to reusable fields to meet more mission requirements] According to Chen Hui, deputy chief designer of heavy-duty launch vehicles, 500-ton liquid oxygen The kerosene engine is currently the largest thrust liquid rocket engine in China. "Compared with the current 120-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine, the thrust is increased by 3 times, the specific impulse at sea level is increased by 2.7%, and the thrust-weight ratio is increased by 22%.

The comprehensive performance has reached the world's advanced level", " It can be applied to large and heavy-duty launch vehicles, providing a strong main power option for the construction of China's lunar scientific research station, deep space exploration and other space activities, and further expanding and enriching the spectrum of aerospace liquid power products."
The 500-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine is not only a "Hercules", but also a "big guy". The engine is about 3.3 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4.3 meters high. Chen Weiyu, the chief designer of the valve research room, vividly described: "The diameter of the liquid oxygen pipeline of a 500-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine is nearly 500mm, which is as thick as an adult's thigh. The main liquid oxygen valve is larger than a football, and the flow rate per second The liquid oxygen passing through the main valve of liquid oxygen has reached more than one ton, which is the liquid oxygen valve with the largest flow rate used in rocket engines in the world."
Every tick of the clock, more than one ton of liquid oxygen flows through the main liquid oxygen valve, Combustion with the fuel oil in the gas generator generates gas to blow the turbine, drive the pump to pressurize the liquid oxygen and kerosene, and finally complete the combustion in the thrust chamber to generate thrust.

"Those who can handle this series of complex processes are 'big guys'," said Lu Gang, deputy director of the thrust room research office. In addition to the liquid oxygen valve with the largest flow rate in the world, the 500-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine also has the world's largest flow gas generator and high-pressure supplementary combustion thrust chamber. The core temperature of the gas in the thrust chamber has reached an astonishing 3,000 degrees Celsius. "This is the fiery heart of the supplementary combustion engine." Lu Gang said.

Before take-off, the 500-ton liquid oxygen and kerosene engine can conduct a health diagnosis on its own state. After confirming that the state is normal, it can quickly transfer to the rated working condition to achieve take-off. During the flight, the online real-time health diagnosis technology is used to conduct real-time health monitoring, and timely "report" the working status of the engine to the general. Once abnormal, the faulty engine can be turned off. Realize ballistic reconstruction and send the load to the target orbit, thereby greatly improving the reliability of rocket flight.

In addition, the team also proposed an engine turbo pump fault monitoring scheme based on pump displacement mutation detection, which effectively solved the problems of false detection and missed detection caused by the difficulty in predicting the axial force characteristics of the turbo pump of a high-thrust engine and the easy failure of the displacement sensor. "It is the first time in China, and it is also the first time in the world." Chief designer Pu Xingxing said proudly, "Our 'smart engine' can not only be adapted to the 'smart rocket', but also can expand the engine with multiple ignitions and other functions. Apply to reusable fields to meet more task requirements.

I have some wild speculation on this.

Assuming the discarded object is a service/propulsion/booster module then it seems to me that this module should be rather full of fuel. Considering the combination only made one orbital maneuver that we know of prior to separation.

We might see these spaceplanes launching and servicing more of these modules, forming a service constellation layer for boosting low orbit payloads to higher orbits.
I don't understand why China is being silent about this space plane. Its not a secret people can track that plane in space.

BTW America has a space plane in orbit for 900 days. Its likely a Boeing X-37B.

Who exactly in US talked about X-37B? What did they say about it? How and from whom did you get all the information about X-37B?
Now who exactly do you mean by "China"? Didn't Chinese news agency officially announced the launch like NASA did? Did NASA or US Space Force say anything more specific about X-37B than CASC?

I think you are complaining a difference that does not exist.
