Development of Lijian-2 continues apace. Zhongke/CAS Space has successfully conducted a hot test run of the 85-ton LOX/Kerosene engine intended for Lijian-2's 1st stage.

Zhongke/CAS Space has successfully completed a static (axial) load test on a Lijian-2 fuselage section. This particular section is 3.35m in diameter and 3.1m in height and is expected to shoulder the highest axial load during launch.

A milestone: construction of launchpad no. 2 of the Hainan Commercial Spaceport is officially complete.

The sound suppression system of launchpad no. 2 of Hainan Commercial Spaceport has undergone a successful test. The system has the largest water spray volume in China.

Non-pyrotechnic rocket stage separation devices developed by the CALT (a.k.a First Academy of CASC). These devices are electrically driven, compact, and reusable up to 30 times. They are cheaper to manufacturer (by 70%) compared to traditional devices and are easy to inspect and troubleshoot pre-launch.

TJS-10 has been observed operating next to TJS-3 since launch. TJS-10's activity suggests that it has the same mission or purpose as TJS-3.

An update on the Hainan Commercial Spaceport. The kerosene storage and fueling system has been installed. With this, the entire propellant storage and fueling infrastructure of the spaceport has been completed, and it will now undergo a debugging phase.

An update on the Hainan Commercial Spaceport. The image below shows a public notice that says the debugging phase for the kerosene storage and fueling system has been completed. However, since the kerosene used for debugging purposes is not rocket grade, Hainan Spaceport is looking to sell it. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the spaceport at the listed phone number.

China launched Gaofen 11-05 satellite from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in 11:03 UTC+8, July 19, 2024 with a CZ-4B rocket.

It's the 528th launch of CZ series rockets.
