On paper the Long March 7 has the same performance as the Long March 2F. It could easily replace that rocket to launch Shenzhou.
The larger next generation space capsule will be launched with Long March 10.
Not only capable, but actually one of many CZ-7's variants was intended to replace CZ-2F, so the design margine is man rated. The also explains partially why CZ-7 isn't so good in payload ratio. CZ-7's LEO 15t was set for that purpose. The larger size of the new generation capsule wasn't the reason to switch to CZ-10A whose reusable LEO capacity is 14t within the 15t parameter. I think the reason is to maintain only one rocket family instead of two to reduce cost.

So is the LM-5 no longer going to be used for manned launch?
Yes and no. CZ-10 is previously called CZ-5DY within CASC before the type was approved for development. Actually all current CZ rockets CZ-5, CZ-6, CZ-7 and CZ-8 were CZ-5XXX in early studies, but got different numbers later on. CZ-5 was envisioned to be a family. From the perspective of technical root, all are CZ-5 variants, from administrative perspective, they are different rockets.

LandSpace has completed the final assembly of the YQ-10 auxiliary propulsion system for the second batch of ZQ-2 launch vehicles. The auxiliary propulsion system is used to control the roll, pitch and yaw of ZQ-2's second stage. YQ-10 will now undergo hot fire tests.

LandSpace has successfully completed hot test run and mechanical assessment on a batch-produced YQ-10 auxiliary propulsion system. The system is now ready for delivery and flight.
