Long March launch pad was just used for Long March 4B for that 400th launch, so unlikely to be a Long March 234. Only other possibility is Long March 11 which uses a cold launch TEL, but we know from that recent CCTV segment that there are a huge number of Kuaizhou-1A launches coming up.

Any idea on what their payload will be? Especially with the huge number of launches coming up, it will be interesting to know their payload. Military or commercial?

What about this one?

Jielong-1 - Yizheng 03 & 04

Mentioned for December launch. This rocket made just 1 launch back to 2019, and no action since then.

Maybe CASC and CASIC are better off staying out of the small solid rocket arena. Otherwise they put the squeeze on the likes of Ceres-1, Hyperbola-1 and Zhuque-1.

The company that makes it is called China Rocket, it's a subsidiary of CALT which is a subsidary of CASC, similar to how Kuaizhou's maker ExPace is a subsidiary of CASIC. China Rocket is working on the larger Jielong-2 and Jielong-3 as well as a liquid fuelled rocket.

We must always remember that the solid launcher is a strategic reserve for quick launch capability in times of war. It is a capability that the sate must have 100% control "刚需". Attracting private investment is just a "副业"/side run business. These "private" companies are essentially "贴牌公司" taking/buying/licencing the core technology (solid motors) from SOE and put up their brands. Unless 1. they are willing to put their money under State control in exchange for a chance of profit, or 2. they independently develop their own technology, there is no way CASC and CASIC would not "squeeze" them.

The new satellite received a new antenna system, including a main antenna with a throughput of 1.2 Gbps, more than double that of Tianlian-1. The function of multi-user planning was introduced, the number of simultaneously serviced spacecrafts doubled. In addition, it became possible to service unmanned reconnaissance aircraft and hypersonic vehicles outside the line of sight, as well as civil aircraft and expeditionary ships.
