The last photo shows a totally different rig structure and design. As pointed out, that last photo is indeed from an American rocket. The other photos should be from that Chinese private space launch company. Really should settle on a name and one that doesn't sound silly in English.

Is this new engine relevant for ICBMs? Probably too big to mount on a truck or put in a submarine, but how about a silo-based missile? Is there anything like that China's developing or is it just siloing DF-41s?
There were rumours of an enlarged heavier version of DF-41 that could be deployed in underground tunnels

Well, the Russians seem to think otherwise.
They keep on increasing the Warhead capacity as well as range of their ICBMs ( atleast has plans for it).
RS-28 Sarmat with HGVs, 15 Mirvs, Global strike range ( Latin America).

What would be the practical purpose of increasing an ICBM's range beyond 1/2 the circumference of the earth? Does russia intend to use a southern ICBM strike route against the US by going past china, the indian ocean, Antarctica, South America and up Mexico?

Extra fuel allows for more active manouvering to dodge interceptors and means the missile can plot a more unpredictable path.If you want to reply more theres a ballistic missile thread.
