China launches final Beidou-3 with Long March 3B Return To Flight
China has launched the final Beidou satellite to complete its orbital navigation constellation. Launch of the Beidou-3GEO3 used the Long March/Chang Zheng-3B/G2 (Y68) rocket and lifted off on 22 June at 21:43 EDT (23 June at 01:43 UTC) from pad LC-2 at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
It will be “some time” before China comments on the success of the mission, but all events through third stage shutdown and initial parking orbit insertion occurred successfully.
