SSO is the most useful orbit type for most military recon payloads. Military GTO launches are mainly for communication and relay work. We can debate which category will need to replaced first/most urgently when a shooting war starts!
The upgrade to CZ-7 is the subject, the said variants are for GTO, why do you drag in SSO missions? Please stay on topic, or start a separate post.

As I said Taiyuan supports LOX and is used primarily for SSO launches but the other 2 don't as yet, so your assertion of a strategic bottom line of GTO payloads wrt Xichang is either presently catered for by existing CZ 3 rockets or not considered a current or that imminent a requirement for the newer KeroLox launchers otherwise the facilities at Xichange would have been upgraded with LOX facilities already/first.
I did not assert anything. I quoted the paper from CASC. The paper is only about new gen LOX engine.

New generation high orbit launch rocket.

Highlighted in dark orange, "launched from Xichang, the minimum GTO payload requirement is 7.0t"

Not hypothesizing Just going with the facts as they stand!

What? Is it you or me hypothesizing? I do wonder where do you get all your thoughts other than CASC.

Anyway for military use a UDMH/N2O4 launcher is arguably superior to Kerolox since its easier to store and handle in sub optimal operating i.e. war time conditions but the toxic nature of the fuels and lower efficiency less ideal for other uses.
Why does this have anything to do with the CZ-7 upgrade?
