Wasn't there an outbreak of COVID on the carrier?
Seems irresponsible to continue the deployment. The sailors might spread COVID in Singapore if they allow R&R.

I thought it was the escort destroyers that had the outbreak. I'm not sure.

the ships to look out for will be the Ocean Going Sand Dredgers

What do you mean by that? Please elaborate.

The British could not even make a heavy lift crane for building this aircarfat carrier, they have to buy it from China. What hope have they got, except subserviant to, and to please, the US master.

And the planes that fly off their biggest warship ever built. With all the place to go on her first deployment. SCS from the "great" British government. It all smells of 1800s all over again. How insensitive can you get!

Anglos don’t have to be sensitive to you; you have to be sensitive to them!

Remember the ploy they attempted after the turnover of Hong Kong in which they flooded the market with Hong Kong dollars in an effort to undermine the economy.

I say the QE should be greeted with the entire fleet of Type 022s and 500 drones!

I really believe that there should be an “incident”.

China needs to step-up to its historical responsibility of being the nation that sets the sun, permanently, on the British Empire. And, if it needs to take AmeriKKKa down a few notches, and re-Islamify Jerusalem and cancel the Pope in doing so, then so be it!

Have you seen these things? They are massive, they can suck sand in huge quantities from the Sea Floor and then have a massive blow aperture that can then redeposit the sand at speed at the location that it is required. They are big, made from thick steel and are hugely heavy, especially when filled.
China has an Armada of these ships working around the clock almost, in the SCS.

My point is that if a Hostile fleet came into waters claimed as Territorial, by China, that they could put a lot of these in the way of that fleet to disrupt its cruising, While keeping the PLAN further back keeping a wary eye and the intrudes very much under its guns. If the hostile fleet threaten the Dredgers, they would be threatening unarmed Chinese civilian vessels in Chinese claimed Territorial Waters and this would elicit equally dire threats back.
Further of course, if one of these Steel Behemoths was to collide with a warship, it is the warship that would come of the worst.
In fact I remember a few years ago that a US Cruiser or Destroyer was nearly totaled by a Dredger in the SCS and only avoided collision by a just a few feet.

Oh I see what you mean. I like it. And no doubt China would have thought of that. Unfortunately even thought these things are massive. The SCS is Even bigger, it will take a lot more of these to actually get in their way.

Also, China would be playing right into their hands with their "freedom of navigation" BS. It will give the U.S. and its allies more excuse to send more gunships to the area.

As far as I know, they only sailed through. No shore leave.

Definately the carrier. 100+ cases last reported after port call at Cyprus 2 weeks ago.
100% of Crew supposed to be fully vacinated with 2 doses.

would be fun to watch if the dredgers "accidentally" spray the hostile ships with sand and dirt from the sea floor if they ever come too close .....

The seemingly gunboat diplomacy all over again but this time they will get not only a bloody nose but also a badly injured body if they dare to do something stupid. The China now is not the China in the Qing dynasty.

Not sure who notated the brits' ships in traditional Chinese, they should be in the simplified form as used commonly in China.
