Nah, I wouldn't even touch poor Fijians. US could claim some underwater reef which Fijians thought that was theirs but can't claim it on UNCLOS based law. If they want to defend it - shoot 'em all! Then you can start building a new airbase!By contrast, you're proposing the US evict the indigenous settlers of Fiji so they can make it a military base.
It's comments like these that I think janiz deserves a permanent ban. And mods want to take action?Nah, I wouldn't even touch poor Fijians. Sounds familiar, isn't it?
So US would be 'good' or 'bad'? I think the answer here should be clear.
'Yeah, this time US did a good job protecting it's core national intrests and showing weaklings where their place is!' should be the answers on this forum.

Last time you wanted to ban me you got warned and for that you'll always want my account banned. I'm sure of that. And I bet you have good memory...It's comments like these that I think janiz deserves a permanent ban. And mods want to take action?

The same with jobjed - I found a weak claim in his post which I quickly translated into real life (1988, as most of you should know) and now he's calling me a jester... Of course he's empty handed when it comes to arguments.
I think that post WWII status quo should be held until there's a chance for peaceful and non-militaristic ways of resolving those issues,Who do you think should own the SCS islands?
Because there won't be any more blood spilled over this dispute. I'm against postings all the time how PRC will deal with US, Taiwan, Japan etc in many threads on this forum as well. Why?
You must have answered some other guy's question 'cause mine had nothing to do with what you just said.I think that post WWII status quo should be held until there's a chance for peaceful and non-militaristic ways of resolving those issues
No blood has been spilt over the Spratlys. Millions of tonnes of sand has been poured but not a single drop of blood. Your concerns are unfounded and not reflected by reality.Because there won't be any more blood spilled over those issues. There was a blood bath in Spratly Islands. I thought that all of the users knew what I meant with 'Shoot 'em all!' in my earlier post but I was wrong. Here's a link for the start:No blood has been spilt over the Spratlys.
For me it could be closed area without any inhibitants or commercial activities around for now. Just like Japanese did with Senkaku. But I know it can't happen unfortunately...who should own the SCS islands
