Fun fact: CCP is responsible for far more Chinese deaths than the Japanese invasion and foreign powers during the CCP's precious "Century of Humiliation." Land Reform, Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution, Tianamen massacre. And, if Xi starts a war in the SCS or over Taiwan, the amount of blood on the CCP's hands will only grow. It's not foreigners that Chinese have to worry about, but the CCP. Sigh, I can feel the deletion coming...

Land reform wasn't that bloody, especially compared with what the landlords did.

Great Leap forward was caused due to poor governance and natural disasters and even then the worst year of the famine only had 25% higher death rate than India and around the same death rate as pre-revolution China. It only seems so high because China brought death rate down so much after.

Cultural revolution was bad but no where near as bad as some people makes it out to be. The economy did grow at a slower rate but for 95% of people nothing changed in their lives at all.

Tiananmen "massacre" happened because rioters killed soldiers and burned trucks and tanks. Same would have happened everywhere else. Infact all "massacres" that happened in China was done to put down people actively killing innocents.


The worst things people point out about China would be average or even good conditions compared to rest of the developing world lol.

Before I leave you guys for good, here's the KFX Plan For Peace in the South China Sea.

1) China abandons the bases it has illegally built on SCS atolls.
2) China abandons 9-dash line claims - they are globally opposed
3) Countries with an SCS interest - Brunei, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam - sit down to hash out claims as equals. Ideally SCS could become a vast nature reserve under international protection.
4) And, to ensure the pro-CCP moderators block me again, China needs to recognise Taiwan as a sovereign state. It is a country and its citizens don't want to be part of China, particularly given how CCP screwed Hong Kong.

If China follows this it will be win-win for all in the new era of common destiny!

FYI, the US is responsible for the most humans deaths in the entire world, due to being at war constantly for most the last century. So your plan for peace isn't worth the electricity you used to type it.

How about this, China will follow your plan if the US

1. Abandons all their bases around the world
2. Take off all sanctions against other countries like Cuba, Venezuela, etc
3. Give back Guantanamo bay back to Cuba
4. Leave Guam and let Hawaiians become independent.
5. Give back the land they stole from the Mexicans
6. Stop funding Israels genocide.

Fun fact, the USA is responsible for the most amount of direct and indirect human deaths in history and has been at war for almost the entire last century. How come you didn't mention that fact?

Because it is indeed a very shameful mistake/friendly fire incident confirmed by an adversary. This adds to the humiliation. However, I am against censoring the video. Chinese citizens have the right to see it and demand the PLA and CCG do better during the next encounter. I am also against punishing front line servicemen without in-depth investigation. Based on currently available evidence, it is clear that whoever ordered DDG-164 (a 7500 tons destroyer) to chase after a highly maneuverable hundred-tons boat made a serious tactical mistake. Following in-depth investigation free from political interference/favours, the commander/commissar who gave such order should be fired (at least demoted and never be allowed to command vessels). Meanwhile, the cost guard vessel turned the wrong way when about to be hit. In general, Hhgh-speed chase should be the jobs of small coast guard vessels, not destroyers and larger CCG cutters.

I don't see it as a humiliation.
The west and Phillipines want to make it look like a huge humiliation, but it's not.

Mistakes happen and I'm proud of china for continuing to defend national interests. So what, mistakes happen. Adjust for the future. In the end, looking at the map, China has control of most of the SCS with warships as well. That doesn't come by being incompetent. Chinese people need to have thick skin in this game.

But you know what else can be humiliating, flying a spy drone around Iran to only have it intercepted and taken by the Iranians. Then having having the audacity to ask for it back.

Spending trillions I'm Afghanistan only to run away.

Making a bit news splash about defeating the Houthis only to lose 2 planes and retreating.
