Curious, i heard before that "leftist groups" in PH hated Marcos fther before and jonied the revolution. Is it still the same? Are they just supporting impechment of dutertes in PH politics them turn against marcos jr next?
Thanks bro, But this political telenovena had been played out ever since the creation of the first republic in 1898. It's a family fight between different oligarchs. the only true violence was when Honasan and his RAM group staged a coup in 1987 and 1989.
So what will happen, Duterte will allowed himself to be arrested thats his plan from the very beginning and see the masses asking for his return, if it happens this time around he had the mandate to go after the whole oligarchy structure which he isn't able to do during his term as president.
The leftist nowadays hate Duterte cause he place himself as the protector of the masses, in other words, Duterte had made them irrelevant. The class struggle in the mind of the people had become a family affair with the Dutertes vs the oligarchs elite.
For the so called left, its a perfect scenario for them, letting this two fight and weakening them at the same time profiting from Marcos gold by aligning themselves with Speaker of the house Romualdez. BUT they are playing with fire, many in the old ranks had such hatred to the Marcoses that it unfathomable for them to associated themselves. Even though they are a dying breed, they still hold some influence in the party.
