What would the growth be without CPEC? That's the more important, then we can see impact.
Building infrastructure is fine, but what is important is people advantage of it after its complete. Comparing the growth of villages, towns and cities along CPEC to those not along it. If there is a several point increase for those around it compared to the further ones, then you know the infrastructure works.

Latest view of Lowari Tunnel is near to complete with the cost of 26 Billion Rs. (لواري ٹنل) is an 10.5 km long under-construction road tunnel situated in the K P of Pakistan connecting Dir and Chitral Valley.
Work on the tunnel began on 8 September 1975, Construction resumed in September, 2005.The tunnel was temporarily open in the winter of 2009-10 when the Lowari Pass was closed.
In 2015, the government approved additional funds for a revised PC-I of the Lowari Tunnel.

Sino-Pakistan Border has been opened for traffic. Three vehicles left for China today from the border town of Sost carrying passengers. The border has been opened after four months. The border is closed annually during the winter season due to excessive snowfall in the Khunzhrav top area, which makes transportation very difficult.
