By supporting separatists/terrorists?
His separatists are her revolutionary force, and her terrorists are his freedom fighters. Bottom line is all nations do dark and dirty deeds for interests sake. It doesn't make it right, but we live in the real world.

OT of course.
Even the support of freedom fighters can be dubious or worse. The support of the "rebels" in Syria by US and their friends Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey has costs the lives of some 400 000 people, many more wounded, and caused millions of people to flee. It also caused trouble in Europe, also to initial supporters France and UK. A well understood self-interest would have avoided a lot of misery.

@delft- it's a crazy world, but it is what it is as national interests produce strange bed fellows.

Like US (CIA) created freedom fighters (Taliban) during Afghan war....later became foe (terrorist)..

OTOH, Pakistan welcomed & accommodated > 2.5 million Afghan refugees & still doing, now its more then 2 decades & due to that our society have disturbed in a huge manner & impacted severe affects as drugs & weapons being introduced in locals. Now they are actively involve in terror activities conducted in Pakistan funded & supported by Afghan based Indian consulates.
