The discovery of Oil & Gas, companies accelerated activities for finding and tracking the expected reserves of trillion cubic feet of gas and 500 million barrel oil in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
After successful discoveries from OGDCL and Automobile in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly Kohat Basin, the search for oil and gas companies, focusing on oil vigilance, has attracted vast amounts of oil and gas in these areas.
According to the sources, in the last 17 years, OG DCL and Mulul have produced oil and gas in large quantities from different oil fields in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the sources, which can be discovered and evaluated.
During this time, both the companies produced 8.27 million, 98,200 barrels of crude oil and 869.77 million, 244 million cubic feet of gas. The Bajaj DCL has produced the production of crude oil, 2 crores 67 thousand 543 barrels of oil, 2 million 96,000 cubic feet of gas and 43 thousand 671 metric tonnes of LPG from Chhattafield in Kohat district.
Overseas DCL has been produced by crude field area of Kark district, producing 3 billion 84 million 733 barrels of crude oil and 11.46 billion 547 thousand 724 million cubic feet of gas. Similarly, sugar production has been produced from Shakradar, Shhan Khan and Germallands.
