60% of the Western Route project of the Pak-China Economic Radar (CPEC) completed...
The most important part of the Western Route of the Pak-China Economic Transit (CPEC) is going on promptly and 60% of the work has been completed.
The completion of this important project by NLC's highly specialized engineers and construction staff with using modern machinery as well, to make the project standard and timely completion possible.
Brahma Bahrath to Dera Ismail Khan is a part of the western route of Motorway CPEC. The National Highway Authority has assigned the Motorway package to NLC through open bidding. The work on package started from September 1, 2016.
The 54 km Motorway ends at Rahmani Khel, which is being constructed at a cost of Rs 13.25 billion and is expected to be completed by August 30, 2018. He said that NLC ensured international standards, there are three bridges, four underpasses, 52 clusters & the sub-grade has been completed.
Asphalt works have started and at the same time, 20% of the project has been completed, '60% of work has been completed from York to Rahmani Khel.
The distance between Dera Ismail Khan will decrease, but it will also play an important role in the Pak-China Economic Corridor...

Under the CPEC, 50 million gallon desalination plant was developed in Gwadar, water will be distributed to the people for only 80 paisa per gallon on non-profit basis.
According to China port Holdings Head, the Plant will be inaugurated on January 1, after which Gwadar's people will easily get clean water.

The Ambassador of Iran has termed China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a game changing endeavour for the region and expressed his country’s desire to become its part.
During a meeting with National Security Advisor Nasser Khan Janjua in Islamabad, Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost said Muslim world was passing through challenging times and his country believed that Pakistan could play a very constructive and balanced role in the given scenario.
Nasser Khan Janjua, according to state-run radio, said broader understanding of each other’s stance regarding key regional developments can pave the way to enhance bilateral engagements.
He also called for enhancing cooperation among regional countries to achieve sustainable peace.
Besides bilateral relation, they also discussed economic prospects of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and matters pertaining to regional and Muslim world’s security situation.
