"Pakistan Road to London" Taftan Pak-Iran Border (Quetta- London 7746 Km)...

Taftan is a town located in Chaghi District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is Pakistan's only legal official border crossing into Iran and famed by locals as the "road to London".

N-40 is one of Pakistan National Highway running from Lakpass near Quetta to the border town of Taftan via Naukundi in Baluchistan, Pakistan extending into Iran via Road 84.It is a two lane highways with total length of 610 km. It is maintained and operated by Pakistan's National Highway Authority.

500 KV Neelum Jhelum transmission line would be completed by the end of September 2017.

Transmission line of the same capacities in Port Qasim and Thar Matiari would be completed by October 2017 and June 2018, respectively. 220KV Jhampir-TM Road transmission line has been energised. Gharo Jhampir line of 220KV, 132 KV Patrind Mansehra and 500 KV Baloki transmission lines would be completed in the year 2018.
