Could you please give us a summary of this 177-page report? What are the relevant points and passages? What are your thoughts on them? Did you even read the report before you shared it here?

Don't just lackadaisically copy and paste the report's title and think that suffices as a summary.

This forum isn't the place for low-effort information saturation.

JASSMs, especially the ER version launched en masses , is still a serious threat to the PLA, especially in a Taiwan or South China Sea contingency. Some kind of launchers capable of launching hundreds to autonomous HQ-17 type SR SAMs purely for cruise missile, drone, and loiter munitions (which Taiwan has a lot) interception will necessary to be deployed along China’s coast.
Something similar to Iranian 358 anti air loitering munitions could be an interesting application of persistent AA defense here, although I'm uncertain whether it can catch up to JASSM. It has killed a few Saudi operated US (scan eagle) and Chinese UAV previously however (WL2 and CH-4)

There was a fairly comprehensive Reddit post on r/credible defense about this particular missile.

Yes, it is the anti-drone drone that a lot of us have speculated about in the past. I think something based on the NUAA Ruiying series can be modified to the purpose. It is jet propelled, and not only has long loitering time but is capable of fast speeds.

A Chinese J-16 fighter intercepts a US RC-135. Footage of Chinese fighter jets JH-7, J-11 and J-16 intercepting American reconnaissance aircraft in the East China and South China Seas has been published. There is nothing particularly interesting, except for the case when a Chinese fighter crosses the path of an American reconnaissance aircraft. Notice how the American RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft bounces when it hits the exhaust gases from the engine of a Chinese J-16 fighter.

China has removed General Li Shangfu as defence minister in the country’s second leadership shake-up in three months.

State news agency Xinhua reported on Tuesday that Li had been removed, without explanation. It came after weeks of speculation over the fate of the US-sanctioned general, who has not been seen in public since the end of August. The decision to remove him was approved by the National People’s Congress Standing Committee.

Possibly has something to do with the United States imposing sanctions on him and the Equipment Development Department for purchasing Russian fighter jets and surface-to-air missile systems. These sanctions were a result of the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), which aims to deter countries from engaging in significant transactions with Russia's defense and intelligence sectors.

Due to these sanctions, General Li and the Equipment Development Department faced restrictions on doing business with the U.S. financial system, and any assets they may have had in the U.S. were frozen.

This is the most ridiculous claim that I have heard of. China's military doesn't have any business deals with the US. US imposing sanctions on General Li is just useless and for nothing.

Beside, there are a ton of Chinese politicians got sanctioned by the US. None of them got striped of their title. Whatever happened, it has to do with internal corruption or espionage. In addition, General Li got the promoted when he already got sanctioned by the US. Nobody important gives a damn about the US sanctions anymore.
