Just lol. Then they could've just called it the Devious Oriental again using reverse psychology in a bold frontal attempt at espionage, or something. I feel like Chinese people have this pathology where they're too honest and keep trying to reason with people who'll always lie, thinking it'll change their behaviour. I've long said any "reputational considerations" on China's part are completely braindead, whatever they do the western propaganda machine will paint its picture maximally bad anyway, so they might as well mercilessly take the action with the highest utility. They're incurring the punishment without receiving the reward, so to speak. Arm Russia, copy American patents, sell fentanyl to Mexico. These are all things MIC media's already blaming China for, why not actually follow through and derive the benefits then? What the hell is the concern anyway, rabid Americans will hate them even more? The USG will have an even less friendly China policy? Lol.
as a life long american american culture is a lie there is no honesty its actively hated and if you are honest you get treated like a defective idiot

BEIJING, Feb.16 -- From February 8 to 15, a working group sent by China’s Ministry of National Defense visited Laos, Vietnam and Brunei and held talks respectively with the defense departments of the three countries. The Chinese working group exchanged views with their counterparts on mi-to-mil relations and regional security issues of common concern, conducted in-depth consultations on the construction of bilateral defense cooperation mechanisms, and reached a series of consensus, which further enriched the substance of China's defense cooperation with relevant countries.

They could have easily preempted the western media and U.S. government so that they would be on the defensive rather than being reactive as always. The Chinese information and disinformation team really needs to up their game big time, or risks igniting WWIII way ahead of the Chinese intended schedule.

I don't know what is their strategy and if they are even coordinating with relevant PLA strategic concepts and aims.
There is no Chinese intended schedule for igniting WWIII.

Thankfully, the actual people in power in PRC do not have the intentions, aims and properties that some ultra-nationalists from both sides (not talking about you btw) want them to have or think they do have.
