Looks like China is testing out drone and helicopters working with each other. Sounds like a network-centric warfare concept. Could they be firing HJ-10 missiles guided by laser designation from the drone from beyond-visual-range?

They’ve been doing this since 2020 at the latest. This is a smart approach since the attack helo won’t be directly exposed to the enemy’s air defense during an assault.

Sounds like Chinese CEC capability may even go as far as attack helicopter launched ATGMs with reconnaissance drones.

The level of spending US engages in is absurd. More than their GDP, I'm impressed by the populace that is ready to stomach all this.

Maybe it's for the better that they have military spending at the top of their priority list. If I'm not making massive errors in judgment here, I'm fairly certain that US can manage its current security requirements with 450 billion. Soon they shall kiss the trillion dollar mark.

US printing and spending money is now in a big dilemma.
latest US CPI is 4.2%.
continue printing dollars will fuel further rise, leading to inflation and decline in living standards of the average Joes on the street.
stop printing dollars, the stock market, real estate market and nascent economic recovery will go south.
Uncle Sam please continue spending beyond your means, most of the global citizens would be delighted.
Just like what happened to Rome towards the end of the Roman Empire.

Future tradings from any country should avoid using $ US to stop possible sanctions and in business transactions, and stop invest in US, or bail out their debts. That way the yanks are like a fish out of water ! They can print their money like no tommorow, who cares!

@ansy1968 I think most economists are "concerned" about Chinese corporate debt - which is indeed quite high.

I don't know much about that subject so I don't even have a good idea about the lay of things ( corporate debt in China) or how to predict its future. China's SOE and Private sectors both seem to operate on high borrowings and shocks to the system can cause unwanted problems. But to what extend the same SOE and PPP bolster employment numbers, GDP growth etc is unknown. The state seems to be OK with all this. It's definitely not sustainable and the gamble here is the hope that they become successful revenue/profit/employment generating entities.

Maybe other means members can better explain the issue.
