Looking at the systems questioned su35 & s400, it is possible that Chinese are returning parts to the russians.WSJ is alleging AVIC is suppling parts for Russian Su-35.
How credible do people find this? Certainly supplying parts is possible, but Su-35 specifically?

Unless "parts" mean KAB-500L? That's something that China has a lot of and would cause a big impact on the battlefield.WSJ is alleging AVIC is suppling parts for Russian Su-35.

I remember a low drag non-guided KAB-500 were photoed fairly recently with a new wing kit attached to it. Assuming the bolt on wing kit have guidance perhaps it has some AVIC parts?Single-use consumable part, thus need to be sent in large quantities.
But on a more serious note. KABs would have limited use when the VKS is unable to effectively do SEAD or DEAD. All the powered stand-off munitions China bought with their Su30s would be of far more value and use. Although I’m not sure how many of them the PLAAF has left since the first batches are probably well beyond their use-by date, and the PLAAF were firing a lot of them during training maybe 5-10 years back so probably expended their stocks before the weapons reached their expiry dates.
I think this is the first time that we've seen J-16s also carry PL-15 pylons on the inner hardpoints.
J-16 & inner hardpoints?? Does thsi J-16 carry any AAM?
By the way, we've seen this already but indeed not often:

.... however as far as I remember THIS one is the first time we've seen a PL-10 on the inner wing-pylons!

I was talking about how it is carrying pylons adapters for PL-15s on the inner-most hardpoints which are normally reserved for larger missiles such as the KD-88.

So it gives an indication that the J-16 could theoretically carry 2 PL-15s under each wing.
