Well, I would say it is proven, the number is clearly '925' spotted in November, so at least IMO there must be another 8th & 9th Batch built between February 2022 and November 2023 aka at least - based on and estimated size of likely 30 per Batch - at least 50-60 additional J-10Cs built within 21 months.

Hmm, I asked some months back about J-10C production and got conflicting answers about production stopping/not stopping. I guess this is de facto confirmation that it is still going.

Indeed. If we add 40+ shenyang airframes per year, j16, j15 plus their EW subvariants
There is definitely more than 40+ fighter airframes rolling off Shenyang's production lines in 2023, if not earlier.

Last I heard, somewhere between 60 and 80 J-16 airframes (including J-16Ds) were likely to have been built in 2022 or 2023. Of which, if the claim is accurate, is not surprising, given the significance of the J-16 family for the PLAAF.

In the meantime, we shall now wait and see what that new huge assembly hall at Shenyang can bring to the table after its scheduled completion in mid-2025.

Could be, at least not unlikely ... in fact similar to the J-10C production, we've seen the highest number - a Batch 11 aircraft in November 2022 - and I'm pretty sure, SAC is likely already well within Batch 12 or even 13!

For example in a similar way, the so far highest cn. on a J-10C seen was no. 720 seen in February 2022 ... only on Friday I saw a J-10C with cn. 0925! So in fact we missed two batches! (unfortunately I'm not allowed to post that image yet)

Need to correct my first assesment after I received additional high-resolution imagery and it is 825, not 925! Sorry, my bad.

I guess that J10C's production is winding down, unless new orders keep coming in (from foreign buyers). Also PLAAF is moving towards next generation of fighter jets like J20, and may be a J35 airforce variant. Their new orders for J10C will be in very small number, if any.

J10 has been flying since 1998, that is more than a quarter century ago. The 1 generation in production, next generation in R&D and another generation in concept evaluation process will keep going in China.

Interesting image and IMO a first since it shows two PLAAF J-16 flying in close formation with two Su-35. Maybe all four from the 6th Air Brigade at Suixi. (Image via @太湖军I名 from Weibo)
