Your question remains surprising never have this feeling with Jeff or Popeye curious...damage ! and not new even before issues just a remark no offense.
I think you once again got me wrong, not entirely sure why?? ... but let's try it again step by step:
1. we have rumours that the 40th Air Division is under conversion since some time, we now have an image showing two J-16s with partially psed serial numbers that at least "could" be 65x1x, a number that is confirmed by Huitong and fits to the 40th AD ... also, the air base is recognised as the 40th AD's home base. So I agree with you, that's not a hard proof, but at least some strong hints that indeed the 40th AD now uses J-16s.
2. You however replied with "The matter is difficult coz even serial numbers are not always a proof and birds in a base can also be in visit..."
3. I replied that it is given the facts mentioned in point 1 unlikely that these numbers are faked and even added that there are indeed serial numbers erased but barely faked (= "I don't mean hiding a serial numbers but faking them to fool the true identity or assignment to a base."). To admit I agreed, that a visit from another unit for familiarisation but you again replied ...:
4. ... with an image I first thought to be faked but that turned out to be correct !
(just look here:

So what does it prove?? IMO only that a KQ-200 from the 8th Naval Air Division has visited Shanghai most likely for familiarisation.
So again I ask you to post an image where an aircraft was seen on a certain base with an incorrect number - and not like these KQ-200 which were from the 8th Naval Air Division on a visit in Shanghai - only applied to fool us??
