Indeed ... and also rarely seen, Chinese Flankers - here again a J-16 - with 4 PL-12.

This guy could be the Chinese "Max Moga", maybe they'll make him the "demo pilot" for the J-Bird Flankers at air-shows this year,,, If he flies, half as good as his "on camera personality", this Gent will be a star!

China needs to realize, they are going to have to go out and sell themselves, and let people see what great people they really are! I can guarantee you this young man does NOT see himself as some kind of "Victim",,, so the squadron emblem is the "Dragon"?

he is a fighter pilot, he's just got that "air" about him!

by the way, Max was the first "Raptor Demo Pilot" and used to be on "AirShoBuzz" and talk to the folks,, these days Col Moga is an F-35 Squadron Commander,,,

that's what they mean, by the "Right Stuff"!

Bai Long is pretty much the unofficial spokesperson for the J-20 and J-16.

This guy has been enjoying rock star type of popularity since the July parade, when he was featured as the jet pilot, interviewed on TV. It also helps his given name is "Dragon" which is easy to remember.

So Kurutoga is that his "fighter pilot" call sign, or his real name?? the English translation "given name" actually refers to your "birth name",, a nick name is given by your friend/enemies/comrades, often in jest, but as kind of a back handed compliment! in any regard, I noticed the "Dragon" patch, and this gent just has the look, I'm sure if he's flown the J-20, he can handle himself very well in the air,, so I'm going to issue a special request to the PLAAF,,,

We'd certainly love to see Bai Long give us a "flight demo" of the J-16 as soon as practical, and then we'd love to place an order for a similar "flight demo" of the J-20.. So you guys know who he is, but the Brat took one look and knew "what" he is,,, not many are as "comfortable in their skin" as this young man is,,, I can genuinely and honestly say, I'd love to meet him, have lunch with him, and listen to his "flying stories?"

I personally think that "hangar flying" or more officially technology exchanges, at the grass roots level of our militaries will undoubtedly lead to better and more honorable relations between our two countries,,, probably would lead to some good natured ribbing as well,,, and you can tell, this guy is serious, but has a bright sense of humor!
