Also, can anyone make sure it's a twin-wheeled front landing gear and not the single-wheel of the J-11BSHs?
Hmm ... to admit I'm not convinced, a least not yet.
Most jets shown are clearly single seater and the best I would say it is clearly a twin-seater is right on the beginning, but this has also the typical deeper PL-8-pylons as well as a pitot, so its most likely a J-11BSH.
I'm really not sure ....

It actually is just a J-11BSH! I was misled by the article's title (new PLANAF fighter conducts solo night time flight).
No. That plane has a curved spine, so probably another Flanker.
Yup, most likely a J-11B naval version, and I think the base could be Lingshui

it's J11B/BS. The report is mainly about the progress of the first 10 3rd generation fighter pilots who soly trained by navy. They just entered combat unit this year.
