According to a paper, the range of this missile flies at a speed of Mach 4 to 5 with a rhythmic? stratospheric atmosphere of over 300 km, over 30 km. After firing, it will rise to a high altitude of 30 km or more, beat the enemy above the radar detection blind spot, and then hit at a high speed rapidly.
Heard that they simulated nailing AWACs at around 250KM. Really impressive with all things considered.
Quick question for those of you in the know: can long range missiles be used reliably against fighter-sized targets? If not, can they at least be used as a tool of harassment at long range?
