Isn't that a J-11B, not J-11A (see the radar dome)?
I recall some time ago that the Chinese sought and gained assistance from the Russian's to upgrade the J-11A radars and fire control systems to fire the R-77's...

Most definitely J-11B. I assumed what Deino meant was there are hardly any J-11B variant photos with PL-12 under the intakes. I found only one photo. There are few photos of J-11/11A, Su-30MKK/MK2 carrying R-77 under the intake and plenty carrying R-27 under the intake.

We have not seen J-11/11A, Su-30MKK modified to carry PL-12, but the there is one image of a Su-30MK2 carrying PL-12 training missiles.

For radars initialy without ulterior modifications J-11 with Phazotron N001 Mech can track a max of 10 targets and engaged 1 simultaneously as Su-27S/P while J-11A/Phazotron N001VE Mech same can engage 2 targets can you say me also ?

105 J-11 build the last 45/48 are J-11A lots 03 and 04.

AAM - R-27 T/ET, R-27 R/ER, R-73

Su-27UBK (Batch 3), Su-30MKK Radar - Tikhomirov NIIP N001VE
AAM - Same as above plus R-77

Su-30MK2 Radar - Tikhomirov NIIP N001VEP
Same as above plus R-77 for A-to-A. N001VEP has additional A-to-G modes allowing the usage of Kh-31A while MKK can only use Kh-31P.

J-11/11A Radar - Tikhomirov NIIP N001V/N001VE
I am unclear with this. N001VE uses different processors from N001V. J-11A uses N001VE and are R-77 capable. The older J-11 may have been upgraded with N001VE.
