The Corporation supplies China communication complexes for military airfields and equip modern communication fighter Su-35, which will go by the Air Force of this country in the framework of the contract with "Rosoboronexport". The systems provide a secure and jam-resistant communications integrated into a network of tactical aviation aircraft.
"Russia and China signed a major contract for the purchase of aviation multipurpose fighters Su-35. The inclusion of these aircraft in the circuit of the automated control system is possible thanks to the Air Force modernized complex of the C-108, which is part of the equipment fighter - says the Deputy Director General of "instrument-United Corporation" Sergei Skok. - Complex in anti-interference mode provides information interaction in all communication systems used by the Air Force. Compared with the previous generation, in this regard, the complex has grown bandwidth of radio, the number of concurrent data channels, shortened delivery time and increasing the accuracy of messages received data in the conditions of electronic countermeasures. "
This sounds as if the communication equipment will be fit to work with Russian as well as Chinese air force systems and that it will provide a basis for tactical cooperation of both air forces.

Do you think that china will rely on russian-made systems for its air force communications??? China doesnt need them. Most probably they will just get a look at them and thats it. It was just part of the selling package that russia set for the purchase of su-35. With only 24 planes, this purchase was mostly for the engines, IMO. Initially, russia wanted 48 planes sold...
Why would China use Russian data-link? This does not make any sense. In order to use the Su-35, China has to install Russian ground stations? How about integration with China's AWACS? This whole thing sounds like a joke.
I wouldn't call it a matter of China using Russian data-links as much as it means both Russia and China use common standards for comm. equipment enabling easier interoperability.
