I feel like they purposely mislead people to link these two incidents to the Chinese balloon by not declaring their origin.
Well it’s reasonable to assume that it is Chinese, as they’re the only ones presently flying balloons over the United States.
This is nonsense as there are many balloons flying over many parts of the continent at any given time.
Yes but these ones are unexplained, and are carrying unusual payloads like the one shot down last week. That wasn’t a weather balloon.

This is what the US wants you to think no matter what the real origin of the balloons are. So they can play more political colored games. These are dirty games.

Exactly. How do they know they were all Chinese balloons. Even if they were stamped "Made in China", it still needed to be verified. Right now, the ongoing meme is to label them all Chinese and evil either by the media or the people.
China admitted that one was theirs, and since these balloons were detected soon after the first confirmed one, it’s safe to assume.
I should also add that the 2 shot down over Alaska and Canada haven’t been described as balloons, and were instead described as silver cylindrical objects moving at 40 000 feet, so much lower than the balloon was. This technology is unlike anything seen before, so it will be interesting to see what it was.
