I love more to see each nation carrying on their own lives without interfering into each other, no bully, no bogeyman, no global cop, no forceful export of ideology, no preaching of BS... stay within their borders more or less, live within their own means, have peace,,, but of course China will take back its its renegade island, Taiwan, as well as those small islands under its administration, Diaoyu Islands, and as for the South China Sea let the claimant nations settle among themselves, outsiders just stay away.i would like to see America intervention against China on Taiwan with 1000 chinese nuclear warheads pointed against them. Also japan.
The US should think thrice before they want to engage China. History is the best teacher and should be heeded by the US if they have learnt a lesson from it.There is no winning in a war between nuclear superpowers. Yes China should have thousands of warheads, but those are for deterrence only. Only Hindu nationalists would be happy to see the US and China actually destroy each other.

With all due respect, the US would not surrender to China unless it was totally defeated, i.e. PLA troops marching into Washington D.C., down Pennsylvania Avenue. And that will never happen before a nuclear exchange. So basically if the two countries go to war directly, the loser will see nuclear weapons as the only solution no matter what. The only way to win this is not to fight in the first place. There are three scenarios for the Taiwan war:
Scenario 1: US does not interfere, China wins.
Scenario 2: The US and its allies intervene but China wins, the US and its allies withdraw.
Scenario 3: US and allies intervene, China fails. In this case, nuclear weapons are the only solution. China will use nuclear weapons to attack all countries that directly or indirectly interfere in the Taiwan issue. The result of a nuclear war is that all countries directly and indirectly involved in this war will be destroyed. If China loses, everyone loses. That is why China needs to build as many nuclear warheads as possible.
Not really, they can simply be physically unable to project force further and the PLA can choose to not pursue seriously. And China today also have nuclear weapons while China of Korean War days did not, thus the calculation is different? The US was plenty able to project further force during the Korean war. McArthur wanted to use nuclear weapons. But the US didn't want to get bogged down in Asia because it's primary opponent back then was the Soviet Union. Now it's primary opponent would be China so it would go all out. The country most similar to Korea today would be Afghanistan.
