Before Covid it was assumed they had little appetite for casualties and could be deterred by the prospect of mass loss. Guess that was a flawed assessment.

If something as significant as a leaked image of new IRBM/ICBM ranged hypersonic glider happened, we'd have heard about it from several much more reliable sources. That picture in the article is just a very obviously shopped DF-26 (the warhead is altered to look more glider-like).I was still hoping if that comes out to be true
Where are you counting 72 DF-16s? Those two pictures show 16 DF-26s, 16 DF-21(D?)s, and 16 DF-16s (I see what you did there, PLARF).
And 3 DF-17?
