The central weapon bay carries the PL-17 and other heavy ammunition, and the two side weapon bays carry the PL-15.

How strange that the PL-15 is "down graded" to the side weapon bay.

Seriously, people keep mistaking this with the 6th gen zhuhai mockup. How is this so confusing for the mass media? It's gonna be annoying if the West really adopts the White Emperor as the meme name for the fighter.

Is this the reason for H20 delay? Seems like their roles might overlap quite a bit.

I'd expect that China should still need some bigger warplanes to travel beyond 2IC and lob larger missiles at targets that may be half of if not close to the distances the warplanes travel from their home bases, and return safely.

The missiles can be BMs or perhaps even HGVs.

Only a large-sized H-20 could do that.

What type of PHD does the guy have? Ppl seem to poorly adapt/understand to the concept of specialisation. Just cause you got a PHD in astrophysics ain't mean you're qualified to talk on astrobiology(study of alien life) in depth.

Quite sure that would just be the use of three WS-10s on the aircraft, the airframe isn't even a day old yet(if you go by first flight as "births"), doubt its intended engines have even left the drawing board.
Heck we haven't even gotten official confirmation for these aircrafts yet, it's too early to tell

I expect that in the course of aircraft development in the next few years, the WS-10 engines will be replaced by the WS-15

Since this one doesn't have TVC, it makes more sense with WS15s. Then again it's the 3601 prototype so maybe they took random engines from the workshop instead of stealing them off J-20s that actually need to do stuff.
