Wait, 央视军事 is the official military channel. Does this mean that the military is finally publicly acknowledging the j-36?
Not necessarily. CCTV military includes many type of programs with various seriousness. A piece of video of a model without any comment shouldn't be taken too serious. What would be serious are words from the two news achors in uniform in straight face and voice during their regular news time.

CCTV is a big organization and not all programs come under the review of the CMC. Credible information only comes from the mouths of these uniformed anchors.

These anchors are not to be trusted as sources of fact:

Problem with videos like these are the complete lack of reference points, it could be a video of the J-36 flying a dive, or it could be the J-36 flying in a straight line and the camera person just rotating their perspective. No just because it has a vertical crop does not mean it's filmed portrait and that's the reference frame.

If it's flying in a line, will the vortex be such massive? I'm not sure, so maybe some experts here can help explain that?

Notice how in the picture you shared the J-20 is pitching up and not diving? Or did you also notice that when the J-20 was banking on a level plane, vortices also formed over the wing surface. Not to mention the video quality is complete utter garbage and it's already hard to tell the direction the J-36 is facing due to it's triangular nature but nothing you have shown is concrete proof that the J-36 is in a fast downward dive. There's nothing that otherwise disproves that the video could've been rotated or altered in some form to greatly exaggerate what's actually being filmed.

Especially from unofficial Chinese media. I've seen all of those CGI's, photoshops, video speed manipulations, all in an effort to paint the Chinese aviation industry into something it isn't. Those kinds of Chinese fanboys have forever ruined a lot of credibility of dubious images and videos posted on Chinese media sites like douyin and weibo, all to get clicks? This isn't even a comment on this video anymore, there's almost a race in China to see who can fool Deino the fastest with realistic photoshops and video edits. Fakes like that blurry J-36 clip with reheats on solidifies my point, a fake that has now spread far and wide across the western internet to the point where most people now think it's real, and it's hard to explain to those who don't follow the debunks that those are fakes made by the Chinese internet. Because of this proliferation of fakes, caution must be taken going forwards, video's and photo's will be questioned at every turn, not only is this something I find incredibly annoying but you'll find it's annoying when video's that you believe are real have their validity constantly questioned.

Is this apart of the Chinese grand strategy to fool Western OSINT? Or is this just a bunch of annoying idiots behind the firewall who think it's funny to bomb the credibility of their nation for some humorous laughs. In no other defense sphere have I seen the absolute amount of fanboys taking it to the extreme of trying to pass their shitty photoshops as real insider imagery. This is my rant on why I'm being so critical of the videos.

I think we have a communication mishap. I just watched the video he posted, you're right that we can't discern the actual attitude of the plane (whether it is in a dive or not). I think what Andrew really meant is that the plane is pulling some AoA, so much so that we can see visible vortex generation that trail the plane at an angle that is slightly offset to the plane's nose pointing.

I somewhat incline to agree the plane is indeed pulling some AoA (therefore some g load), but then again it is too blurry to tell exactly
