Meanwhile Nuevo León achieve attract a shipping aircraft which occurs one hundred percent all components in the state, in Apodaca, the company Unmanned Systems Technology International (USTI), is making the first unmanned aircraft designed and assembled in Nuevo León whose initial estimated capacity is 20 units per year.

This is the first drone designed, manufactured and assembled by Mexican engineers at the plant that has the Apodaca, Nuevo León.

The company that is barely five years after starting operations has invested more than $ 5 million to enable the manufacture of the first drone, since between uses or applications are monitoring or information gathering requiring any industry as oil, agriculture, health, military, among other sectors.

Mauricio Ramos Pons, company president, said they have invested more than $ 5 million for the production of the first Mexican drone and certified by the US Department of State for the import and use as raw material for aerospace grade carbon fiber used in the manufacture of the aircraft.

As part of the annual general meeting and plenary Associates Aerospace Industry Federation (FEMIP), Rolando Zubirán Robert, head of the Ministry of Economic Development, said this is a sign of things to do in the aerospace and the state government priority now is to consolidate the sector.

"The next big challenge for the Mexican industry transformation lies in aerospace, and how to consolidate this strategic sector that is highly specialized," he said.

Mauricio Ramos Pons, President of USTI creators of the drone, said the ship has a range in transmission in direct line of 30-100 kilometers to send live information to the base; reaches 12,000 feet high and seven hours of flight using premium fuel.

In the assembly of the FEMIP took office as President of the Federation for the period 2014-2106, Benito Gristzewsky Kriger, replacing Honc Vladimiro de la Mora.

For his part, General Aviator Pilot Group Diploma of Staff Air, Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, announced the Aerospace Fair Mexico to perform at Saint Lucia Air Base in the State of Mexico on April 22, 2015.

The Argentine Navy inaugurated a Periscope Simulator Tactical Trainer

siper%202g.jpg

(defensa.com) The Diving Submarine School and inaugurated the new version Periscope Simulator (SIPER 3.0) of Tactical Trainer. The SIPER 3.0 incorporates new technologies to give more realism to the simulated scenarios. The modernization project began in 2013 and aims to update the simulator applying new technologies. The Submarine School and Diving (ESSB) along with the Command Submarine Force (COFS) and Service Weapons and Electronic Warfare (SIAG) - began a project to modernize Periscope Simulator (SIPER 3) Tactical Trainer , which replaces version 2.

Both the previous version today were designed and installed by the Faculty of Sciences - National University of Central Buenos Aires (UNICEN, Tandil). The Diving Submarine School and has a Tactical Trainer (ADITAC) used for kinematic and tactical training in a submarine type TR 1700. It has integrated Periscope Simulator (SIPER), unique sensor that allows the commander of a submarine identify ships, aircraft or notable points along the coast.

The project aims to upgrade the SIPER applying new technologies to achieve greater realism in the orientation / training of students and the training of the crews of the submarine units. At the same time, aims to recreate the stage and observable environment from the periscope, including the design of civil and military vessels as well as different environmental conditions. This data is integrated with commands signals were digitized periscope and capable of being displayed by the operator periscope on virtual reality goggles.

Another very important aspect is the library improvement targets that may be displayed on exercises, allowing to simulate a larger number of tactical situations, including different kinds of white both surface and air. The evolution of hardware systems, particularly that of a graphic processing favors the generation of virtual reality scenarios much more real than those who had until a few years ago. The current graphics accelerators provide the developer with a lot of tools and functionality needed to generate more vivid scenes with advanced lighting effects, handling of large numbers of geometric entities and digital image processing.

All activities related to the recreation of observable environment are conducted at the Research Centre for Dense Magnetized Plasmas PLADEMA, the UNICEN. Also, due to the excellent results obtained, the ESSB, the COFS and SIAG, are working again with the National Central University and the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Mar del Plata, in the pre-project construction and design Integrated Submarine Simulator (SIS 1) platform that will simulate the dynamic movements of the ship underwater.

The ceremony concluded with the ribbon cutting by the authorities. Also participated in the inauguration the director of the Submarine School and Diving, commander Hannibal Hector Alonso, staff of the Weapons and Electronic Warfare, Research Center for Dense Magnetized Plasmas (PLADEMA) and the Faculty of Exact Sciences the National University of Central Buenos Aires (UNICEN, Tandil).

The opening ceremony was attended by the Director General of Education of the Navy, Admiral Raul Ricardo VGM Christiani and the Atlantic Naval Area Commander and Chief of the Naval Base Mar del Plata, Admiral Diego Miguel Orlando Dalmiro VGM.

Concern and surprise at the Uruguayan Navy after the order to take, maintain and crew the ship burned, corroded without engines donated by Brazil to the University "Prof Besnard"

popa%20besnard.jpg

(defensa.com) In a tone almost annoying, high naval sources expressed concern and surprise after the order, issued by the end of year speech the Defence Minister Eleuterio Fernandez Huidobro, around the ship, formerly oceanographic and deactivated by the University of Sao Paulo in 2008 after a fire that killed their engines and mains, after which he never returned to sail, corroding its structure in the harbor of the port of Santos, which also needs to be unoccupied.

Although the Department of International Cooperation of the Uruguayan Foreign Ministry states that a tripartite committee of the Navy technicians, Faculty of Sciences, Ministry of Education and Culture inspected the vessel and have concluded that this is an "operational mooring worthwhile to invest and recover "the Navy does not support this end, claiming to have raised another report using their ducts very unfavorable to its incorporation, for which also is lacking pier and related facilities.

"We have to take care of repair, maintain and crew the vessel Oceanographic donated by Brazil. It will work in coordination with the University of the Republic, especially with students of oceanography, other specialties of our youth studying and private universities" said the minister to the initial disbelief Force and subsequent questions regarding your entire operation, as even the "Prof. W. Besnard" has its navigability licenses revoked by the Brazilian Navy. Its scrap value of $ 200,000, less than half of what it would cost to tow it to Montevideo.

Including, apparently, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, which has priority in use, own would not be very convinced of one driven by former Mújica own and other academic authorities at the behest of 5 Oceanographers just graduated from the same university operating Sao Paulo, two years after the ship caught fire and rendered useless. The Navy proposes to modernize the Logistics and Supply Ship ROU 04 "Gral. Artigas" for oceanographic, Antarctic and multipurpose tasks, while the Fisheries Research Institute of the University, is implementing a coastal research vessel Polytechnic UTU, specifying only 5,000 euros to finish his laboratory, which, however, do not get.

Some BTR-60s with T-54/55 turrets mounted.
Interestingly, two distinct variants appear to have been made: One (early?) with angular top hatch and no other roof hatches visible and another (late?) with rounded top hatch plus two pairs of roof hatches behind it...

Any thoughts!

Very interesting. I wonder if the chassis can really support the gun firing. I notice that the turret is no longer EGG shape and it is longer. I wonder if the back only stores ammo, or it has a autoloader (with the 2 hatch, I kind of doubt it)

For the howitzer on the BMP-1, I can't imagine what kind of stress the chassis will have to endure when it fires.

The opening of the video is kind of funny, the way the engineer acted made me think that he forgot that the camera was ready
