This is the first drone designed, manufactured and assembled by Mexican engineers at the plant that has the Apodaca, Nuevo León.
The company that is barely five years after starting operations has invested more than $ 5 million to enable the manufacture of the first drone, since between uses or applications are monitoring or information gathering requiring any industry as oil, agriculture, health, military, among other sectors.
Mauricio Ramos Pons, company president, said they have invested more than $ 5 million for the production of the first Mexican drone and certified by the US Department of State for the import and use as raw material for aerospace grade carbon fiber used in the manufacture of the aircraft.
As part of the annual general meeting and plenary Associates Aerospace Industry Federation (FEMIP), Rolando Zubirán Robert, head of the Ministry of Economic Development, said this is a sign of things to do in the aerospace and the state government priority now is to consolidate the sector.
"The next big challenge for the Mexican industry transformation lies in aerospace, and how to consolidate this strategic sector that is highly specialized," he said.
Mauricio Ramos Pons, President of USTI creators of the drone, said the ship has a range in transmission in direct line of 30-100 kilometers to send live information to the base; reaches 12,000 feet high and seven hours of flight using premium fuel.
In the assembly of the FEMIP took office as President of the Federation for the period 2014-2106, Benito Gristzewsky Kriger, replacing Honc Vladimiro de la Mora.
For his part, General Aviator Pilot Group Diploma of Staff Air, Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, announced the Aerospace Fair Mexico to perform at Saint Lucia Air Base in the State of Mexico on April 22, 2015.
