-I see that the language on the simulators seems to be English, which I guess is fair enough since the language of aviation is English, or is that limitation from the Chinese side? Or maybe they made such a hash of the translation that the English version was consideredconsiderably better?

I haven't really heard anything about the Q-9 single seat attack K-8, does anybody have any more information on it so far or is this all still highly speculative or even some bored aviation enthusiast's pipe dream?

Hmm I do like the idea of an attack aircraft converted from K-8.
It looks like a good low speed, rugged plane which can be strengthened to carry a payload greater than its current 1000 kg. If modernized and loaded with some of the smaller munitions we've been shown (mini LS-6, FT-5, HJ-10) then it could make a very potent CAS platform while being relatively cheap.
Sort of like a mini A-10.

It would certainly be able to carry a heavier payload than the standard turbo-prop COIN aircraft like the Super Tucano. It could possibly come pretty close to the AMX International AMX... that is.... if this is real or not.
