Chile will receive two second-hand 'Hercules' from the USA
The Chilean Air Force (FACH) plans to incorporate before May 2017, two C-130 Hercules additional second-hand American origin as stated in the Sectoral Account of the Ministry of Defense to the Presidential Message corresponding 2016 the Government of Chile.
The document indicates that these aircraft will increase the capacity of the Chilean Air Force to carry out missions of strategic and tactical troop transport, passenger and cargo flights in support of people affected by natural disasters and emergencies both at home and abroad as well as improving connectivity and extreme isolated areas of the country.
