At least I think so !

I'm in regular contact with David Cenciotti from "The Aviationist" via Facebook and I'm almost sure that he read my post. As such You are correct that "we" are that source.

Anyway I'm very much interested when that new type will be officially unveiled.

This is said to be the first image of the apanese ADT-X demonstrator prototype. Could it be true ??... even if such blurred images are more typical for the first unveiling of Chinese types ??;)

Deino :D

Can't really tell with such blurry image but I would like to point out one thing. The uniform worn by the technician is wrong coloring from proper Mitsubishi Heavy uniform.

Here is a picture of an actual Mitsubishi Heavy factory uniform.

Interesting note, but I think in that blurred original image the colour and lightning is set quite bright ... so this "too light" blue might fit .... maybe !

Another point I just realized, planes in general adds paint after assembly is completed so the red paint on the tail rudder seems odd.

But the ATD-X is reportedly finished since May ... and even an official roll-out was planned for the media, which was postponed however. As such being painted is not an argument for me.

Although I am aware that ATD-X is scheduled to make her maiden flight in fisical year 2014, but I have not heard she had already been assembled. I don't think they will postpone roll-out since she was developed as a demonstrator in which case her first order of business will be to impress the press.
