I am not saying the writer of this Atlantic council article knows what he is talking about, but seems like saudis and us negotiations broke off this past week. Saudis 911 story is coming out after it has been suppressed for years
What a soft-dicked pressure tactic/blackmail attempt. 9/11 was 23 years ago. I don't think anyone in the world gives a shit about it anymore given everything that has happened between then and now.
Western media spent plenty of time bringing up the Lockerbie Bombing when justifying war against Libya - with Ghaddafi getting anally raped in the end. That wasn't just 23 years earlier (Almost the exact same timeframe); it was also an issue which had been diplomatically settled as Ghaddafi spend the post Cold-War era improving relations with Western countries.
I have little doubt the vast majority of Western Journalists has appetite for plenty more deadly butt-rape-diplomacy, and they will no doubt do their very best to make the World a worse place if the US administration prods them in that direction.

I'm not talking about Western NPCs and their propaganda. I'm talking about the global south, members of BRICS, etc. The US can drag Saudi Arabia through the mud in their propaganda all they want (just like they tried to do with China in Xinjiang) but they're going to have a hell of a time actually trying to do anything substantial to harm Saudi Arabia. They are already tied up with their support for Ukraine, Israel, and getting humiliated in the Red Sea. And you better believe Russia and China would take maximum advantage if the US decides to get itself bogged down in another series of Middle East wars.
Saudi Arabia has been spending it all in Vision 2030.
They can but it would blow back on them significantly in terms of global de-dollarization. There is a reason why demand for US treasuries is in huge trouble after all. Freezing of Russian wealth supercharged de-dollarization. Freezing of Saudi wealth would hypercharge it.
I was looking at the participants, North Korea sent 12 participants which was interesting. What stood out to me was that Israel sent 4 participants to the 2024 BRICS games in Russia also ??? Palestine also sent 1 participant to the BRICS games.
