I'm wondering if anyone has experience with applying and working for a company in Hong Kong as a foreigner and who got the position with the help of the recent foreign talent scheme that they've implemented? If so I would be interested in what the experience is like.

I would like to know how authoritative and common the views and conclusions in this video are in the relevant fields in the United States?

CSD) Location: Arnold Conference Room, Lewis & Clark Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS. Senior leader opening remarks: Brigadier General Mark W Siekman, Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Combined Arms Center Moderator: Dr. Mahir J. Ibrahimov (Dr. I.), Director, Cultural & Area Studies Office (CASO), U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Panel members: • Dr. Geoff Babb, Professor, Department of Military History (DMH), CGSC • LTC Jason Halub, Advanced Strategic Leadership Studies Program, School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) • Dr. John H. Modinger, USAF (Ret), Associate Professor, SAMS • Dr. John T. Kuehn, Professor, DMH, CGSC This panel is part of a series of pertinent and timely discussions with subject matter experts of CASO partners across DoD, the country, and globally about historical, contemporary, and socio-cultural issues of operational and strategic importance to the U.S. and its partners.

I watched the entire video with my mouth agape, utterly astonished. If the content presented here truly reflects the basic and widespread understanding of the US strategic intelligence observation towards China, then the US has made a critically fatal misjudgment in its strategic assessment of China. Conversely, China has accomplished the most successful external strategic deception in the past 150 years. This deception is not akin to concealing material possessions or weapons, but akin to "successfully convincing you that I'm just a effeminate gay who likes to lift weights."

Since you have watched the entire nearly 2 hour video, can you kindly summarize the key things that left you agape? I kind of don't want to use up two hours and melt my brain from the propaganda or stupid, and thank you for having suffered through it.

Can anyone tell me anything about the start of China's rare earths/strategic minerals dominance?I've heard it was started by Chou EnLai and Mao in the 1960's as a project under the Chinese Academy of Sciences but I really don't know and there is little in the English press/books -just admiring the Chinese falmost prescient foresight in this strategic geopolitical chess move which bears fruit today
