Anyone what this or these ships are?
What is 3D air/surface search radar? It has a different role / purpose to VHF search radar? And what is the equivalent of this 3D air/surface search radar that equipped by the 052D destroyer?

I'm sorry, I can't edit the post. As I want to change my question a bit. Hopefully somebody can help me with this.
My question is what is 3D air/surface search radar? And what is VHF search radar? Are they the same function but different feature or has different function? Is it the same function as APAR?
I believe the folks in China and on other forums have indicated that these are drawing, based on photos, of the new Type 910 AOR vessel that is currently building. A large vessel too at something on the order of 40,000 tons.

any news on the talks about a Chinese Navy base in Djibouti? I read something about this the other week, with talks about letting Chinese ships dock and the sailors have rest and recreation in Djibouti. Apparently it is next door to the US base.
I assume that the US is very annoyed by this development. They dont want China to have a large number of overseas military bases, thus it could be assumed that there is a lot of diplomatic and economic pressure on Djibouti to make them change their mind.
As China gets richer and richer then the tempation for more and more countries to accept the Chinese cash for leasing out a tiny piece of land. My guess is that Djibouti is the thin edge of the wedge. I am sure China would like bases in East Africa, Myanmar, Pacific Islands, maybe even west Africa. As the years pass and the economic power of China rises and rises, more poor nations will accept the temptation of lots of Chinese cash to lease out a small pocket of land.
Of course the PLAN would like the overseas Navy so as to outflank the containment of the first island chain.
