What would be the future direction of the PLAN? Will they work to match the USN's capability in power projection in the near future (circa 2035) especially with China being such a large exporting nation with interests and major investments pretty much all over the world. Though I feel like a big issue with this is China's lack of oversea bases however there seen to be plans to build a few more "joint" bases in some countries recently but haven't heard much news on them.

In 2035, China will still be trying to secure the Second Island Chain.

There's no point going for global power projection if the Western Pacific would still be contested.

From the UAV thread, posted here because I was curious: does China not restrict how its customers sell equipment purchased from China to other buyers? Or did China give the go-ahead for sales of UAVs from UAE to RSF?

Nope. Not the first time it has happened either. UAE did this in Ethiopia and Libya.

I asked this question a few days ago but got no answer. I always see US sat photos of Russian, Chinese, DPRK bases etc. from private and public companies with insane detail. Does China have such services? How does China's coverage compare to that of the US?

There are plenty of those in the Space Program thread. There was a video tracking a U.S. fighter flying over South Korea.
