Huawei unveils its new Atlas-900 supercluster using some new powerful switch that enables 2250 nodes connected and up to 18k GPUs. This cluster will enable trillion parameter LLM training.

fyi, 18k GPUs x 600TFLOPS FP16 ~ 11 EFLOPS (although I don't actually know the exact TFLOPS number here). If it's closer to 1000, then we could be looking at 16 EFLOPS. I would imagine this is designed for next gen Pengcheng lab
