American Economics Thread

America's young generation is hilarious. They complain that everything costs too much while complaining that the people providing these services are paid too little. Dude online ranting about how eating out is too expensive:

"It's like $120+ altogether for a nice dinner for 2. Like, who can afford that? Cost of living is ridiculous now!"

Then same screen name on a different thread responding to a post saying that it's a rip off for a restaurant to charge $60 for 4 ounces of steak, 2 shrimp tails, a single scallop and some asparagus, and this dude rages,

"You're not paying for just raw ingredients, OMFG are you living in medieval times? You're paying for the art, the skill, the chef's education, the restaurant location and decor, the dishwashers, the servers, the prep people, for all of them to come into work and serve your lazy ass! Go to a supermarket or MacDonalds if you can't appreciate that and don't think these people deserve a livable wage!"

LOL This guy expects to take out a dollar bill from his wallet and have it magically transform into a Benjamin when it hits the server's hands.
