But how could the economy be bad if people can buy luxury pineapples that cost 400 dollars?

So, on one end, in order to keep the CPI values seem artificially low, they've substituted ground beef for Wagyu, but on the other end, pineapple has inflated about 10,000%, and now it's called Luxury Pineapple. So I see what's happening here.

So apparently, this dude was on some old 1970s Bell helicopter that, due to U.S. sanctions, wasn't even, probably wasn't even maintenance correctly with parts and stuff, and also the fact that it had its transponder turned off for security reasons, but the other thing about this is, is probably using an old GPS receiver. So, no GLONASS, no BEIDOU, no nothing. Man, even my DJI drone has all three receivers.

The James Bond movie GoldenEye popularized the whole concept of EMP, Electromagnetic Pulse, but its second movie, successor movie, The Tomorrow Never Dies, was the first popularization of GPS spoofing. But in that case, it was spoofing a ship. However, nowadays, it's probably spoofing aircraft, especially helicopters in fog.

This will depend a lot on the couple's type of employment, but it is quite possible for a family to reach this income, a family with a man and a woman earning US$60,000 each can reach this annual income, but I am sure that the vast majority of families do not even reach this income.

Cost of living and incomes are both very dependent on geographic location. There are many cities where plenty of households can achieve household income of 120k, but 120k is going to be far from enough for both owning a home and being able to raise 2 kids. Conversely, there are many places where 120k annual household income is enough for home ownership and raising a family of 2, but then you have very few households in these areas that can earn that level of income. If a family is okay with not owning a home or not having 2 kids, then they would be able to get by with substantially lower incomes. In many US cities, I feel that it almost makes sense to just rent, especially given property taxes and the current real estate market and interest rates. In fact I feel the only valid reason to buy a SFH right now is for the school district, it just doesn't make much sense from a financial perspective otherwise, depending on your future expectations of the US economy / real estate market.

I don't think old helicopter is an issue.

The issue is more towards poor maintaince due to sanction and lack of quality domestic produced replaceable parts.

Any old machine can be kept running, as long as it's maintained properly. Older stuff just cost more to maintain.

The combination of age, poor maintaince and bad weather led to the accident. Weather was so bad, rescue team couldn't even enter the region immediately.
