What recession?

Landlords HATE him: he donated a kidney to pay one year of rent in advance!
Damn I hope they don’t have to donate his ding ding as an advance payment because then his life will be more or less over, especially in the USA where public exposure and being a man whore is the greatest pastime along with up loading the results on TIKTOK, a legendary Chinese invention that even that damn dirty bast@rd Hunter is using while he is exposing himself in a sceptic tank with lots and lots of coke….. wow things are looking pretty bad… and they say Chinese people are not civilised… bloody yanks

So I saw last week that US will move to ban 14nm manufacturing equipment to China
On top of this (B)itch McConnell is blocking the domestic semiconductor funding bill (which wouldn't help soon enough, but can't hurt)
Solar panels and possibly batteries will be constrained due to Uighur protection act or whatever it's called
The war is not ending soon
So what is the way out? Do business people just revolt against the government?

Just to be clear.
I am quite serious...
I do not see any concrete plan to tackle inflation. There is a lot of talk, but it seems to me that the government is actually going to let things run and see how it pans out.
In the true market economy, sometimes such a cull is needed. One of the reasons Japan has stagnated since the 90's is the refusal to allow for this kind of trimming.
Of course, regular people will need to endure some hard times as well.
Wondering what thoughts people had...

Noobs, watch and learn
All I learnt here is that one has to hold there gun side ways in order to make money. And wear a stupid cap and sun glasses as well. What a champ, still one has to admit, for all the so called security that America loves to boast about, they really do suck when it counts…. Should I do the same if I wanted to find a decent girl, because apparently it seems all one needs to have is a well oiled shaft and nothing much else given how the general education must be worth nothing nowadays

I find recoil much easier to control holding a gun sideways, it also feels more natural anatomically than the upright position where you wrist is forced into a semisupine position.

It also looks cooler.

They just need to come out with a gun with sights on the side...

Business will find ways or loopholes to avoid stuff (don't worry that much about Xinjiang).

As for semiconductors, the US first have to actually get ASML to ban DUVL, if they succeed, go to semiconductor thread for more info/questions.

, which advertises itself as a way to spread the cost of the latest brands and smartphones, is shelling out loans for milk and gas with cash-strapped customers looking for ways to cover basic necessities.

Linda Cruz, a mother of four from a small town near San Antonio, Texas, started out using Klarna’s interest-free loans for occasional, large purchases -- like a new air conditioning unit after hers died during a heat wave last summer. But as prices started to rise for essentials, she started using it for groceries, too.

Cruz, 37, a bail bonds agent and her family’s sole earner, is paid bi-weekly and said Klarna is a useful budgeting tool, letting her take care of her bills when she gets a paycheck.

While Klarna doesn’t disclose its default rate, the company evaluates customers’ ability to repay on every transaction and losses are consistently less than 1%, a spokesperson said.

Klarna’s cost of borrowing in the open market has risen sharply in the first half of 2022. A February 2024 floating rate bond has seen Klarna’s discount margin, a measure of the credit spread over benchmark borrowing rates, climb to 318 basis points. That pushed the company’s two-year borrowing cost above 4%, more than double what it was at the start of the year.
