Unfortunately according to the CRRC SiFang America website, it's just a subsidiary of the actual state-enterprise CRRC Corporation in China. Though how they managed to even establish a factory let alone snag a contract with a major American city in 2016 is frankly bamboozling. Is it me or is this exterior kinda outdated/ugly. Did the Americans cheap out on buying better designed trains from Chinese manufacturers?
In 2016, CRRC was awarded a contract by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) to supply more than 840 new 7000 Series railcars, which will replace approximately half of the agency’s current fleet. The contract with CTA includes a provision from the Buy American Act ensuring a minimum of 60% of all components of the new railcars are built with supplies from the United States. Current production plans exceed this requirement, which would increase to 65% in 2019 and 70% in 2020

Lets not forget this gem:
You can't remember another year when so many people went to work in this country. There's a reason. It never happened," Biden said. "History has been made here," he added, driving home his point.
"It's the strongest economic growth this country has seen in nearly 40 years." That was cause for celebration among Democrats and Biden supporters.
I can safely conclude that 46% of Democrats require urgent psychiatric assessment as they have completely lost touch with realityBroken down by party affiliation, 46% of Democrats rated Biden as "excellent" or "good" on the economy
