I notice Indians really love wearing vests.
Better designed trains require supporting infrastructure capable of taking advantage of those designs. i.e. there’s no point in acquiring aerodynamic and smooth running carriages when the century old tracks don’t support speeds faster than a bicycle.
Not to mention high tech designs require highly skilled technicians to understand how to service and maintain those subways, but there is the on going skills shortage in the US(for various reasons that are also subject to debate)
