for those who claim that the US will outgrow China in 2022.

I hate to quote only, but I am lazy and hate to write. I'm more pessimistic, I think there is a good chance the US economy will fall into recession in 2022.
It looks like the US will shrink, while China's economy will surge in 2022, making it possible China will add another India for the year.

@LesAdieux bro IF that happen then the gap between the two will shrink and maybe instead of 2028, China may have reach parity with the US in 2025 or 2026?

Wording is so important. When one says, "We can add another 2.5T to the GDP," everybody applauds thunderously. When you say, "Let's add another India," at least I went, "Ugh... can we just keep everything sanitary and not put a pile of trash on the banquet table?"

That's really bad. It seems that the real collapse was happening in America all along

Private payrolls fell by 301,000 for January versus the estimate for a 200,000 gain, according to payrolls processing firm ADP.
This was the first reported net job less since December 2020 and came as surging omicron cases hit hiring.

I remember falling for the Peak Oil meme in the 2006-2008 period. Reading people like Dmitry Orlov. My youthful and foolish days. The system will not collapse due to energy, but due to lethargy and mediocrity, along with a depopulation crisis combined with massive debt overhang.
