Yep, time for Obama's "lap dog" to get a bite in the butt from Trump's "MAD DOG!"

The whole DOD is in better hands this morning, and we are all safer than we were last Friday, we have a DOD that will "MAKE PEACE!". In a vicious world you have to make PEACE, it don't just happen, Obama's eight years fully illustrate my point, we lost every contest that meant anything! and the world got uglier and more aggressive every day!

But Obama called the carrier strike group on station after the Syrian chemical attacks

The congress called it off ? Made America look really stupid

As a result the war went on and got uglier and more terrorists attacked European country's

Why did the 6th fleet sit and watch when Obama seen the famous red line cross ? Have I got it wrong ?

Obama is a "drone", he did not like to get his hands dirty, when you could have a faceless machine go do your "killing" for you, that's it. He did not, and would not defend this nation, or our allies and friends, and the Middle East is a damnable mess because of Obama and Hillary's meddling and propping up those so called "Arab Spring" movements, just like what they tried to do in Syria.

They did NOT know what they were doing, or what damage they were causing/fomenting, they had NO business in being head of state, either one. period

That's why they fed Ambassador Steven's to the wolves!

So you can call in all the carrier strike groups you want, but its not gonna change a thing, kinda like the Admiral Kuz's latest mission??? its a "SHOW" of force, or somebody said a "show of farce??"

Aircraft Carriers remain and will remain a principle tool of US foreign policy, they are visible, which makes them a little vulnerable, but they are "sovereign US territory", you mess wit one, and we "Will, rain Hell on you! I promise you that!

we don't want no trouble, but if you want? its no trouble at all to "play your game"??

I got way to opinionated in my previous answer Asif,,,, I should learn to be a gentleman and keep my mouth shut??? I should have just said it is a national "Disgrace!", and yes I am ashamed even though I didn't vote for Obama, I'm still ashamed of the MESS we have made around the world with our feckless, flawed, illusion of a foreign policy?? a shame, and we are going to be dealing with this mess for at least the next 50 years if our God will have mercy???

UK forces escort passing Russian 'ship of shame' returning from Syria

British armed forces escorted a Russian aircraft carrier dubbed "the ship of shame" by Defence Secretary Michael Fallon as it passed through waters close to the English coast on its way back from bombing raids in Syria.

Images released by the British defense ministry showed RAF Typhoon jets and the Royal Navy's HMS St. Albans frigate escorting the Admiral Kuznetsov and its support vessels in the English Channel on Wednesday as they headed toward the North Sea.

"We will keep a close eye on the Admiral Kuznetsov as it skulks back to Russia; a ship of shame whose mission has only extended the suffering of the Syrian people," said Fallon in a statement.

"We are man-marking these vessels every step of the way around the UK as part of our steadfast commitment to keep Britain safe," he added.

Planes on the aging carrier had been taking part in Russian bombing of rebel forces in Syria's civil war, a campaign which was widely accused in the West of indiscriminately targeting civilians.

The Kuznetsov, Russia's only aircraft carrier, had passed through the English Channel on its way to Syria last October.

Not all AFB just that i wanted to know your views as they stand

My interpretation is that Obama acted in Syria but then congress messed up and bottled it, this makes US look pretty silly

This is what it boils down to, US went to war in Iraq no weapons of mass destruction

Weapons of mass destruction used in Syria US stood by and did absolutely nothing

Makes US policy look shaky at best and doesn't sit well in foreign eyes

USN carriers have area of "responsibilities" where is that responsibility when they are needed ?

So they are just for flag showing, showing a presence ?

World is a mess and let's just hope next generation don't have to watch wars on TV like I have done for the last 15 years

agreed on every count except that I have no doubt there were WMD in Iraq, Saddam moved that stuff into Syria to his buddy ASAD, who is a bad dude! If that story about Obama wanting to move were really true, he would have gone on TV and given congress a lecture, and ordered the Joint Chiefs to follow orders, congress would have had to sit and wait, because the President is the BOSS! he would then inform congress what he had done, congress doesn't have to be involved initially, they do have to be informed.

Obama likes to talk big and lecture, but really doesn't have the stones to back up that mouth, or ASAD would have been dead and gone!

If and When Mr. Trump says go, they will go, period, exclamation point! We have a very well balanced system here in the states. The military is under civilian leadership, however if any Pres ever gave what were "insane" orders, there is a procedure for that as well, our military ultimately answer to the citizens of this great nation, who love and support our military by and large, because we can trust them to do the right thing!

If you really have any question about those carriers and whether or not they mean business, BD Popeye can give you all the info your heart desires with-out revealing any national secrets, they do mean business, and whether or not you favored our several little Iraqi interventions, they really were "shock and awe", no way would I want to be on the receiving end of that.

But those orders MUST come directly from the President of the United States! He is the man, only God Himself commands more power, well I guess we'd have to give the Devil the #2 spot?? Heh! Heh! not really funny is it
